CCBS Web Services is the on-line name for web site design and hosting services offered by C&C Business Services Limited.
We have been providing I.T. related services to small and medium sized businesses and organisations in London, Kent and Surrey since 1993. In 2005, we added web site design to our list of services. And since 2009, we also provide web hosting services.
how we began
The founding directors, Steve Chisholm and Christine Collen, have been working with computer systems, big and small, since the early 1970's. They have each worked in the I.T. departments of blue chip organisations such as London Stock Exchange, HM Ministry of Defence, British Council, London Co-operative Society, Wellcome Foundation, London insurance market.
Back in 1993, they decided to set up their own computer support business after finding that local small and medium sized firms did not have access to the level of I.T. support provided in big corporations. And, as PCs were starting to play a critical role in business operations, there was and is a need for tailored and affordable PC support. And so in 1993, C&C Business Services was founded, firstly as a partnership and then, in 2003, as a private limited company.

- design and build bespoke database applications with Microsoft Access and SQL Server

Ever since the World Wide Web was invented back in 1989, increasingly businesses and organisations are investing time and money in building web sites to advertise, transact business or publish their activities over the internet.
So, adding web site design services was the obvious thing to do for C&C Business Services and these are mainly provided by Christine Collen Cert Web Apps (Open).
To gain a broad technical foundation in both client-side and server-side web concepts, Christine studied with the Open University on web courses Design and the Web and Certificate of Web Applications Development. The certificate comprised 6 separate courses in web-related subjects and she successfully gained the certificate after attaining distinctions in all 6 disciplines.
